Following an expansion of its R&D department, Klarius Products Ltd. the largest aftermarket emissions manufacturer in the UK, has announced the release of 95 new emissions parts to its 10,000+ product range. The new additions include type-approved catalytic converters (CATs), diesel particulate filters (DPFs), exhausts and related fittings. New parts service vehicles across the automotive spectrum, incorporating old and new, from commercial vehicles and SUVs to popular models and sports cars.
Parts of particular note include catalysts and boxes with tailpipes for the Mazda MX5; diesel particulate filters and pipes for the Volkswagen Crafter commercial van and catalytic converters for the future classic 2000-2004 Peugeot 406 2.0HDI. Accessories include durable rubber mountings for the iconic ‘Star in a Reasonably Priced Car’ Chevrolet Lacetti 1.4 and 1.6, along with flat gaskets for the 2006 Vauxhall Antara 2.0TD and 2005-2007 Volkswagen Passat 2.0 FSI. The new list demonstrates Klarius’ continued pledge to deliver parts for specific makes and models – allowing the company to supply a ‘Fit First Time’ guarantee through the entirety of the emissions control range.
Klarius designs and manufactures every CAT, DPF and exhaust to stringent EU type-approval standards, the undisputed benchmark for ensuring emissions components are reliable, preserve the performance of a vehicle and attain EU emissions standards. Klarius achieves this by utilising an in-house test track, where components are tested on real world vehicles of applicable model to standards set out by the VCA, and also regional bodies such as the TÜV. This level of quality control enables Klarius to supply a 2 year warranty across the range, providing purchasers with the utmost confidence in its products.
Doug Bentley, Head of Research and Development at Klarius Products, shared his thoughts: “As a business we refuse to stand still, we have to keep pace with the latest models to market with regards to aftermarket support, but also balance this output with further offerings for vehicles where demand for components is high. We develop components through demand and wherever we perceive a gap in the market – with our recently built new R&D centre now enabling us to produce more parts than ever before. We can even design exhaust systems specifically for customers, which boosts our versatility across the production scale. By reinvesting and keeping pace with one of the most innovative sectors in industry, we enable our passionate team to make the high quality parts available that motorists require.”
