Klarius Warranty

Every product available in the Klarius emissions control range is covered by a 2 year, or 24,000 miles (whichever comes first), warranty as standard. We believe this warranty provides the reassurance that you are receiving a high-quality part that adheres to or exceeds OE component performance.

How:

We are able to offer this comprehensive warranty thanks to the diligent practices we enact during research, development and manufacture of our emission products. Rather than supply a generic aftermarket part, we actively aim to produce like-for-like OE quality components that seamlessly integrate with an intended vehicle.

Every Klarius exhausts, catalytic converter, diesel particulate filter (DPF) and mounting is:

  • Designed for a specific marque, model and production year
  • Fully type-approved where applicable
  • Fit tested on real world vehicles
  • Independently noise and emissions tested to standards outlined by regulators such as the VCA and TÜV
  • Produced from high quality materials such as stainless and aluminised steel
  • Manufactured on a state-of-the-art production line
  • Developed by a team of dedicated technicians

This stringent approach ensures that our products will perform exactly as you expect.

Klarius operates a dedicated test facility where independent assessments of components can be carried out to regulatory standards. This ensures regulatory compliance for noise and emissions levels, while also providing provision for additional fit testing. To guarantee quality and performance, all applicable Klarius components are fully type-approved to EU legislative standards.

Therefore, in addition to a 2 year or 24,000 miles warranty, we supply a ‘Fit First Time’ guarantee and a stamp of type-approval on components where it is applicable.

Quality Concerns

We pride ourselves on providing high quality replacement car parts and make every effort to ensure that all parts reach the end user in perfect condition.

If your component fails to reach these standards and you find an issue with a part either on delivery or while in service, then please let us know.

Returns Process

Please contact our customer service team in the first instance who will be happy to address your concerns.

You will be asked to provide some information by completing and returning a quality check form and by providing some simple photos to assist in the quality investigation.

The quality check form is available online or through the customer service team.

The Quality department will use the information provided to make a decision on whether the part need to be returned for further investigation.

Any part that is to be returned must be in a “red” returns bag and accompanied by the relevant quality check form and K note label for traceability.

Exclusions

CAT warranty returns for emissions failure must be accompanied by the emissions failure report, including the 4 gas test analysis report.

DPF’s are only covered for structural failure. Please note that blocked DPF’s are not covered under warranty. A blocked DPF is not a warranty issue as the problem originates upstream of the DPF.
