Quality standards in manufacturing, materials, and product design are of paramount importance. Klarius is one of the few manufacturers to gain full type approval for relevant replacement exhausts, catalytic converter and diesel particulate filter products. With developing, testing and manufacturing emissions control components for the automotive aftermarket, quality is ingrained in everything that Klarius does.
Consistently meeting OE quality standards, performance demands and production schedules means that Klarius has the flexibility to manufacture short-runs of components economically for the aftermarket, as well as low-volume orders for specific model or stock requirements. Additionally, the business manufactures in accordance with strict ISO 9001:2015 and BS standards.

Manufacturing
Klarius’ manufacturing plant produces replacement emissions control components to cater for more than 24 million vehicles in the UK (63% car parc coverage) and approximately 152 million vehicles in Europe (60% car parc coverage). Utilising lean manufacturing processes, high quality production equipment, regular training and a robust logistics service allows us to adapt quickly to changes in the market and meet our customers’ requirements.
Warranty
Every product available in the Klarius emissions control range is covered by a minimum 2-year warranty as standard. This warranty provides the reassurance that you are receiving a high-quality part that adheres to or exceeds OE component performance. If your component fails to reach these standards, please complete the warranty returns “quality check form”, where the Klarius customer service team will be happy to address your concerns.
Fit First Time
Every Klarius exhaust, catalytic converter (CAT) and diesel particulate filter (DPF) is delivered with a ‘Fit First Time’ guarantee as standard. This means that each component is designed and tested to fit specific vehicle makes, models and production years, offering seamless integration when installed on a vehicle. This saves time on the ramp for the garage and means less waiting time for the driver! Klarius can even provide all the fittings and mountings needed within the range, so don’t forget to ask for them when making an order.
Type Approval – Going the extra mile
The Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA) states that type approval provides ‘confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards’. For emissions control components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power) and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket part will reach or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part. Every applicable exhaust, diesel particulate filter and catalytic converter in the Klarius emissions control range is type-approved. The business regards this legislation as a minimum benchmark of quality and denotes its components as premium items.
